“A man is related to all nature.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson |
WELCOME, Friends! As the “Connecticut Naturalist,” I film and document wildlife in Connecticut, with an emphasis on Fairfield County. There is a vast variety of plants and animals in our own backyards. For years I have observed the migration of the yellow-spotted salamander and followed them to their vernal mating pools where they breed and lay their eggs. My enthusiasm for these and other creatures such as wood frogs, spring peepers, red efts, turtles, and snakes inspired me to create my cable TV show, Connecticut Naturalist. Selected episodes of Connecticut Naturalist, as well as A Journey Through The Old Quarry Nature Center, are available on DVD. Visit the “Nature Flix” page for more details. Original music from the series is available on CD - see the “Music Box” section of the website. |
